about

alaloota. it starts off with sound. sonic dreams. how we feel & breathe & touch sounds in our unbodies. ancestral sounds, Luganda, Yoruba, like some kinda answer, whispers, passing. remembering dreams past, near to us, & future. trans(itory) dreams that begin with rhythm & grow into something else we cannot name. as we sing & play, we see visions of each other. we see ourselves as a harmonised becoming. we are mischievous loving goat companions moving through the sorrows of grief- work. & yet, we laugh. & we hold & ground each other through the heartfelt air of love/care & friendship. we unsound sounds that come from elsewhere & summon them to stay. & we invite you to get somewhere in our dream sound, or simply listen ... to this dreaming of sounds with us. ––
